Rimays InCarVideo is in development. There is no public App Store or TestFlight download linked from this page yet.

Getting started

On Home, select Play Rimays sample to try the included original animation.
Select Add video → Import from Files and choose a supported video. A private copy is stored in the app.
For an authorized online source, select Add HTTPS stream, enter its title and direct MP4/HLS URL, and confirm your access rights.
Create a playlist on Playlists. Open it and add videos; use Edit to reorder or remove entries.
Use Settings to change language, clear history, remove videos or delete all library data and saved server credentials.

Playback questions

Why won’t my video import?

Use an MP4, M4V or MOV file containing a video codec supported by iOS. Check available device storage and whether your Files provider has downloaded the file. Audio-only, damaged, unsupported or protected files may not play.

Which online URLs work?

Direct HTTPS MP4/M4V/MOV or HLS .m3u8 sources. Web pages, YouTube links and credential-bearing/query URLs are not accepted. Access must be authorized by the content owner. The app does not extract or download third-party streams.

How do I use AirPlay?

Select the AirPlay control in the player, then choose an available supported home receiver. Network and receiver support are required. Route changes pause playback; resume explicitly when ready. AirPlay hardware verification is still pending for this development build.

Can I watch on my BMW or ordinary CarPlay?

The current build disables vehicle output. Ordinary CarPlay is insufficient. A compatible vehicle, Apple approval and verified availability handling are required. No parked-video update has been confirmed for a 2020 BMW 530i G30.

What if the library will not open?

The app preserves existing files when storage cannot open. Restart the app and check storage. Back up your videos before reinstalling. Do not send private videos or access tokens when requesting help.

Contact Rimays

Use the contact options on the Rimays website. Include “InCarVideo”, your app version, iOS version, device model and the steps that reproduce the problem. A dedicated support address has not yet been published.

Never include access tokens, private videos or a full vehicle VIN.
